How do i make my room seem brighter?

my room is light blue and medium blue, and i just wanna make it seeem alittle more friendly and brighter, if that makes sence

open the windows more

put light coloured stuff in it

put flowers in it too !

Does your room have a window?Any room that has a window will become a brighter room other than having the right pastel colors.Dont put any dark colors in your room..try all light tones. A friend of mine recently painted her room very light yellow and it has had a very positive effect on her. Good lUck.

Paint the ceiling white, if you can. It will reflect more light down.

Candles, colorful artwork, love, more lights, lava lamp! key..... And maybe a few rugs. OH! And Flowers!!!!! Floral things!!
