How do i make my skin runway perfect?

Question

on my face, i wash/tone/exfoliate/moisturize/everythin... and my foundation [stila liquid illuminating foundation] is incredible. i apply it with a mac foundation brush and i love it but i can't figure out how to make it look a little less cakey.

and how should i make my skin look perfect too?

use just a little of face wash in the morning and at night just not to much or your face is going to look striped
