Avoid baking soda. It might appear to whiten but it actually is damaging the enamel. Stick with white strips then use Listerine pre-brush rinse. Avoid coffee and tea and drink drinks with a straw to avoid your teeth.

Had to edit my post after I read an above comment. NEVER  use a hard bristle toothbrush not even a medium one. Did you know that the only thing that a hard or even medium toothbrush does is damages the gums permanently? Only use a soft bristle brush.

Try the Crest White Strips - I use them sometimes and they work pretty well.  It's a cheaper alternative to professional whitening.

make an appointment with your dental Hygienist to clean all the surface gunk off your teeth

then buy instore/order online CrestStrips... theyre fab!

finally, i hear good things about Pearl Drops Smokers whitening toothpaste. and a good electric toothbrush helps a lot. they dont have to be expensive.

use Listerine whitening mouth wash. ive been using it for like a week , once in the morning and once at night. im already seeing a difference!

there are special toothpastes that you can use.

use these three times a day and they'll get whiter.

alternatively, you can buy a tooth whitenening wand, which you can use yourself to whiten your teeth, however you should only resort to that if they are really discoloured.

Ok, I consider myself an expert on this.....lol  I have used every and I mean every over the counter whitening product that there is.....I just bout Crest Night Effects.......my teeth are so white after 2 days.  You get them, well I got mine at Walmart.  They come with these little brushes 15 of them and the solution is in a gold bottle, or they could be in individual packages....price was about 12 dollars.  This is working for me only after 2 nights.  Crest night effects is the name.  In my opinion forget the strips they fall of during the night.  This stuff goes on like cement and you sleep with it, wake up and brush your teeth.

First off if you are under 18 and you use Crest Whitening Strips, it'll make your teeth really sensitive to the cold or to heat (if you're older than 18, they work great).  In addition, no matter what age you are, whitening toothpaste, Trident White gum, and regular brushing will make your teeth white and glossy.

Brush w/a hard brisle not a soft one! I mean i had some yellow teeth! and i went to RITE AID and got  a 99 cent tooth brush and my teeth are the bomb! LOL or get some whiting strips

i would also use crest white strips cause they do work but you gotta make sure you use some sort of enamel strengthener first, like ACT listerine cause after about the 8th time you use the strips your teeth start to hurt cause the whitener weakens your enamel. bad 4 teeths
