Ok, I have had 10 relatives pass in my life that I cared for very much, one including my mother. I want a tattoo to honor them, but I don't want to put all thier names on me. I am not very creative, so I can not see a way to do it. Do you have any good ideas? Oh yeah it would be on my right arm, maybe a half sleeve.

  1. you could maybe think of things that remind you of each relative, tell them to the tattoo artist and see what they come up with.

  2. How about 10 somethings. sorry, that's a bit vague- i my self have seven stars down my back for a similar reason, you could have a half sleeve with maybe 10 flowers, or symbols or 10 dice for fate or something?

  3. If they're all on one side of your family you could do a tree, then something representative of each person on each branch they'd be on your family tree.  If from both sides of your family, then you could do two trees converging.  You could think of something to represent all ten relatives like stars or flowers or whatever, then have them connect to make some sort of design that would be representative of your family.  Just think of things that you feel would symbolize each of them and how they relate to one another.

  4. well just use symbols that represent your loved ones.

for example, if your mother loved roses, you could get a rose in her favourite colour, or if you had someone pass away from cancer, you could incorporate a cancer ribbon into it. if someone was a free spirit, you could get a bird, or something with wings or a halo.

try to think of the best memory you have with each person, and incorporate that into it.

    something like this:

  5. Maybe something like:

R.I.P w/ all their initals printed onto a gravestone?

  6. One possibility is a sleeve with portraits of all of them- another might be to incorporate their birth dates in the design you want. Find a good artist (tattoo or even a fine arts major) and get their help with the design- a good tattooist will be able to convert the design into the ink- even better is a good artist that works in several media including ink in skin.
