How do i make new friends at a new school?

okay well im starting a new school in sept, i know people there by face but i dont talk to them. My boyfriend goes there but hes going on vacation for 2 mnths in december which means im gonna be alone, and plus i obviously have to make friends. the people at this new school have a reputation of startting up alot of "drama", i hate drama..how can i fit in and avoid the drama?

I had the same problem when I started my school (in August). Just try to go up and introduce yourself to someone who looks like they won't start drama. Remember, someone has to make the first for something to happen..

Well be outgoing, be yourself, start talking to random people that you think are nice. They will most likely talk back but if they don't then just go to another person. Be funny and loud and show that your possible to do anything. If people see these qualities they will sooner or later want to get to know you. Who doesn't like a person with a great personality? Drama doesn't really occur as much as people think. Don't mess with people and you won't get in trouble. Even though your boyfriend may not be there that shouldn't stop you from doing what you have to do. Don't sweat it. Have fun and have experience with this. Good Luck! its a new start =)
