How do i make new friends at school?

I'm in grade 11, and last year i was only friends with people in grade 12. I made the mistake of not making any friends in my own grade, and all my friends graduated last year. I'm not very good at making friends, and am not interested in school activities or sports. The other kids probably find me to very stuck up, since i didn't talk to them, but i just didn't think of the fact that my friends wouldn't be there this year. I've been in the position of having no friends before, and it really sucks. What should i do?

I have the exact same problem.. It really sucks when lunch time comes into play too... I'll be your friend :D

If you have your old friends, try to ask them there friends and then you can make friends with there's too. If not, then try one by one new student and smiling and asking them questions. If they don't seem to like you, try another student.

I have the same problem but just make sure not to look at anyone as if you care to much about not talking to anyone too much in class and do your own thing and let them se that.If someone ask you a question be friendly, don't exclude your self just make it seem like your happy doing your own thing, and they'll come to you. =]
