But if u wanna make it halal, make sure it has been slaughtered by the neck.

that's so funny i had that last night at my in-laws n it was GOOD!

well i dont know how to make it exactly, but i know that u make rice with lamb (halal u get them from the Arabic store), with peas and some pine nuts.  u cook them together like ure making regular rice and then u buy a ready pastry from the Arabic market also (ask someone there for the special pastry for the usi) and then after the rice cooks u just bring the pastry an put the rice in it and wrap it and then put it in the oven till the pastry cooks.  and finally just put some butter on the pastry so it doesn't be dry!
