i think you mean how to make the cue ball stop after u shoot?

well you have to shoot the cue ball on the face of the other ball(straight), also you have to make sure that your cue head hits the cue ball under the middle of the cue ball just a little bit if you want to slam but if you want to it softly it's ok if you hit the cue ball on the middle because you don't need to go under that.

u have hit the bottom of the q ball
