How do i make videos for youtube?

I have windows movie maker and i would love to make videos about my favourate shows/movies etc. but i don't know how to download clips from shows/movies to put into my video. help? x

Here's how to Upload to You Tube:

Click: File

"Save Movie File"

My Computer

Next

Give it a File Name (Save in Video Folder)

Other Settings

Click Video for Broadband( 512 kbps)

Next

Saves Movie

Click Play Movies Box(Optional!)

Finish! ;)

Now Upload Video To You Tube by clicking the yellow Upload Button on you're Profile and follow on-screen instructions.

It's easy, you just have to be aware of copyright videos, and read the guidelines on youtube. You have to make a youtube account first, like you would an email address. You are going to specify what kind of account you want to make, whether personal, for musicians, etc. Once you have your account, you simply go to account and go to upload video, then just look up the file where the video is at and browse it from it. Simple enough. If you want to edit your videos, you have to do it before you upload them. You can use Window's Movie Maker, Apple's Final Cut (I'm not sure that's what it's called), etc, and that is different from uploading, takes more time, but once you're done, you save it, and remember the file where the video is at, then upload. If you are going to edit your videos, obviously, you have to know how the software you're using works. If you are not familiar with it, you can watch videos that show you how each works on youtube, they are very helpful. Good luck making your videos.

you need a tv recorder card that connects pc to the tv for recording programmes.

or.. get clips from other sites such as metacafe, veoh, ..

or.. use a web cam and start recording something... or

Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker(included in your windows machine)  to create new masterpieces.... then save it as video file such as wmv ... finally upload.
