How do i measure a single gram with an oz scale?

Please, ive been trying to figure it out and cant seem to.

  1. you cant - you need a metric scale vs. a "standard" scale.

    why we call it the "standard" when the US is the ONLY country that DOESNT use the metric system is beyond me.......  


  2. Given your penny test, your ounce balance seems to be off by more than 100%. Your ounce balance may not be accurate enough to weigh a single gram.

    A new penny does have a mass of 2.5g and 2.5g is 0.088 ounces. Obviously 0.10 ounces is quite different from 0.088 ounces.

  4. If you have a scale that reads hundredths of an ounce, then you might stand a chance.  One gram = 0.03527392 ounce.
