How do i move my itunes songs from one computer to another?

I just got a new laptop and i want to transfer some of my songs from my old computer over to my new one. There are about 1400 songs total. Can anybody help me out? Thanks.

Get an iBook and put them all on it, then move them to the other computer.

I did it by using a 1gb flash drive and transferring them. It takes a few trips, but it's not that bad.

What you can do is one of the following:

1. Buy an external hard drive, and put all of your files on it (and all of the files on your computer too!)

2.Put all of the songs on cd (this takes a LONG time).

3.Get a Flash Drive and transfer all of the songs from there to thee flash drive.

Now, to find the music in the itunes, go to my documents, my music, and there will be a folder named "iTunes". Just transfer all of those songs.

There should be an iTunes folder saved on the old laptop where all the songs are saved in there. Just transfer that folder to your new laptop.
