How do i multiply items using ditto pokemon diamond?

yo cant multiply like that you need to go the gts trade a pokemon and make sure that both are holding rare candy and the second before it finishes saving turn the game off and you will have your own pokemon with rare candy and the one you got with the trade and you will have two rare candies (i don't recommend it because 1 it takes to long and 2 if its not done at the right sec. you lose both pokemon.

you can't multiply items by using ditto pokemon

Sorry, you can only breed pokemon by using ditto.

You could try having a pokemon with the ability at the front of your party as it may pick one up occasionally. Other than that your only choice is really to hack using action replay!
