How do i multiply polynomials?!? =/ HELP?

If you're talking about something like this (2+3y)(4+5y), you would use F.O.I.L.

F:  First

O: Outer

I:    Inner

L:  Last

Then follow that order:

F: 2 x 4 =8

O: 2 x 5y=10y

I: 3y x 4 = 12y

L: 3y x 5y= 15y

Then you combine them: 8+10y+12y+15y= 8+ 37y
