  1. If you have quite a few symptoms of the manic phase:

    Euphoria

    Extreme optimism

    Inflated self-esteem

    Poor judgment

    Rapid speech

    Racing thoughts

    Aggressive behavior

    Agitation

    Increased physical activity

    Risky behavior

    Spending sprees

    Increased drive to perform or achieve goals

    Increased sexual drive

    Decreased need for sleep

    Tendency to be easily distracted

    Inability to concentrate

    Drug abuse

    or many symptoms of depressive phase:

    Sadness

    Hopelessness

    Suicidal thoughts or behavior

    Anxiety

    Guilt

    Sleep problems

    Appetite problems

    Fatigue

    Loss of interest in daily activities

    Problems concentrating

    Irritability

    Chronic pain without a known cause

    You could possibly have it and should discuss it with a doctor for a proper diagnosis.  You should also know that their are 2 main subtypes of bipolar and also Cyclothymia, which is a mild form of bipolar disorder and includes mood swings but they are not as severe as full-blown bipolar disorder.

        * Denial that anything is wrong

    Unrealistic, grandiose beliefs about one’s abilities or powers

    Sleeping very little, but feeling extremely energetic
