How do i obtain a birth certificate..i was born in seoul korea in a civilian hospital and im a german citizen?

i was born in seoul korea in a civilian hospital, my father was in the U.S. Army but a german citizen and my mother was a korean citizen. i am currently a german citizen living in the United States

  1. You could try contacting the  nearest German consulate here in the U.S. and ask them  if they can help you.  They may be able to coordinate with the German consulate in Korea.


  2. You'll have to elaborate a bit.

    Depending on when you're born Korea didn't have birth records. As a result your birth may have been registered with the Germans in order to help you obtain German citizenship.

    Try visiting the Korean embassy or talking to your parents.

  3. BC is issued by muncipality related to POB. Visit Registrar of Births near to hospital.
