  1. Don't know but i need to keep an eye on this question, because i'd like to know.

  2. If you mean a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check, then you must obtain this through the registered organization, eg school, voluntary organization, local authority, with whom you will be working/volunteering.

  3. If you're training for a particular type of Job or starting a college or University course e.g. Healthcare, they will normally follow it up for you. Most places will only do that rather asking you to do it, in case you find a way to change it...

  4. get yourself a conviction, then on your way to court they will give you a list of previous that is on your record.

sorry thats the only legal way, some dodgy cops might get a hold of it for you (hope not)

  5. Go to the CRB site and pay for one

  6. You cannot, at the moment, get a CRB check directly for yourself. A prospective employer can get one if you complete and sign the application form, the results will be sent to him/her (you get a copy too).

  7. You can obtain a basic disclosure from www.cbscreening.co.uk, which will detail all records held on you on government central records, such as the PNC, CHC, etc. It's quite cheap compared to other services and they guarantee a turn around of 5 working days, compared to six weeks from your local police station.
