How do i open a Kyocera lingo?

i was on the mobile web 20 minutes ago and my phone froze up when i hit the power button to close the mobile web. the inner screen is till displaying the web page but when i close the phone the outter screen is white. the phone wont turn off no matter how long i hold down the power button and i was thinking i should just remove the battery and put it back in again like i did with my old razr, but then i rememberd i only got this phone like two weeks ago and i dont have the slightest clue how to open it 0.o
