How do i open a .rar file?

I recently downloaded 2 emulators one for n64 and 1 for gba/ds but they are in .rar format and idk how to open it or what program to run it in?

It is shareware, but will run forever in demo mode with a nag screen.

Install 7-zip, it's open source (free) and handles more formats than Winzip.

you have to download and install Winrar to be able to open it.

There's a neat program called win rar or win zip these are pretty cool. If you are running vista it has its own built in extractor. Theres some pretty cool freeware out there I use IZ Arc as its faster than the windows programs and i got that free with PC Gamer Magazine. Try searching .zip or .rar extractors on google Ciao for now.
