How do i opt out of an ebay thing?

i sold someone some shoes on ebay. i sent them. they were returned. they now have a scratch on them. i think its from the postal service cause hte box was a little bent. anyway the person never recieved them, or said they didnt, and i dont feel like dealing with this again so i just want to refund the money to her and she said she agreed but i dont know how to do it. help!

Either send her a return payment via Paypal, or mail her a check or money order.

You don't have to get eBay involved to un-do a sale.
