How do i order things from manufacturer? How do i get the contacts for manufacterer? Do i have to own store?

Question

I don't own a store but i want to start a business selling motor oil specifically castrol or mobil1 i need at least 100 gallons. I also need mach3 razor blades for shaving , etc.

I tried contacting the manufacters (it was h**l) and all they gave me was a bunch of back and forth numbers between the company so i got nowhere for about half a day.

Do i have to own a store for the manufacturers to send me? or can i order? I am confused any help would be greatly appreciated.

Large manufacturers do not have time to service small sales like 100 gal of oil, so they sell to distributors or to large chain stores directly. The distributors sell to the regular stores. This means that it is harder to track down who to buy stuff from. For some reason, even if you call the manufacturer and ask for the local distributor, you may not get an answer.

When I wanted to find some products I googled for them and found a distributor that would ship to me. I was not successful at finding a local distributor.
