  1. if its a factory 1 with the nav there is setpoints in the unit that keeps it from displaying the video in the front . you can bypass the safty switch. however if the unit is after market. tying the 2 leads together could fry the unit if it needs a ground instead.  what brand and model number is it and i'll see what i can find

  2. if its a factory fitted there is a switch that is connected to your handbreak tell the headunit if it is on or not.

there are 2 ways to do this

    1. cut the switch off and wire the two ends togeter ie constantly on

    2. buy a replacement switch that you can replace the switch, so you can turn the screen on and off, also means that you can keep the old switch safe and revert it back if you ever sell the car.

  3. seems like you are asking to bypass the security screen on a stereo. depending on the exact brand and model of the stereo, there are different ways to accomplish this.

older stereos require just buying a cheap switch and wire it into a cable to the stereo.

some stereos require to just flip a wire in the back, like some pioneers.

others require buying some relays and other lil equipment to disable the need for the ebreak, like some alpine.

but all this is illegal in most states due to people not keeping their eyes on the road. ive read of people getting tickets for having disabled this security feature on their stereos. some insurance companys will not cover you if there's an accident you are involved in and you by-passed the safety feature. so before you do it, be sure to read your local laws and check with your insurance agent before doing it. you will not be happy finding things out the hard way.
