How do i paint my composite field hockey stick.?

What do i need to buy and do in order to paint my composite field hockey stick. it is a TK stick and is in pretty good condition. I hate the color and want to paint it something else. What steps do i need to take. What type of primer and paint...etc.

sand it down but not very hard just enough so you get the paint off otherwise you might damadge the sticks qualities. You can then either use acrylic or spray paint, if you have acrylic paint it will look more natural as when you wear your stick in, the paint will wear down like your standard graphic. but spray paint will look more glossy

first i would sand it dont take off all the tape and all of the stickers use a good base coat and then it might take 2,3 or possibly 4 coats of paint

I would suggest lightly sanding down with sandpaper and then using acrylic spray paint. It will most likely take at least three coats
