How do i paint my dresser??

Question

i want to paint it a dark purple. the dresser is wood and light pink.

should i use spray paint or should i just paint it with a brush?

I think spray paint wont do better, although it is easy to use, and comes in much better colors, but on wood it might look dull. I would advise to go for paint!
