Well I have this idea that i think will be good for businesses. Its an invention.

What will the patent involve. How much does it cost.

Can I patent it for worldwide.

After patenting other proccesses does a product has to go through to reach the market.

    Some things can't be patented and patent laws are different throughout the world so you it's not possible to give a simple answer.

  3. You can't patent an idea.  For a product, you have to have a working model, or sdomething physical.

  7. Really the question boils down to money. It will cost you a lot to get a watertight worldwide set of patents using a patent agent. However, it will cost you a lot more to defend your patent in court when someone infringes it, or tries to invalidate it.

    A large company can spend a lot of money on legal fees which an independent inventor never can, even if he's clearly in the right.
