How do i pay with bank giro chequ/slip?

the company who is awaiting a payment from me sent me a bank giro sli at he bottom of the letter with their account number, and sort code, also has a logo of the bank they yse u thin. so how do i use this to send money to them. do i just go to my bank or at their bank, or at any bank please help me this is the first time ive payed in this way.

  1. Go to YOUR bank with your service card and your account details.

    You can also make Giro Bank payments at the Post Office but they will charge a handling fee.


  2. Take the slip with your payment to your bank and hand over at the till. They will then process the payment to your company. Some banks may make a small charge for this.

    Alternatively, if they sent an envelope, you can enclose a cheque with the slip and post it to them. Don't send cash though!
