How do i permanently remove words or phrases from my search box that are pre exsisting?

every time i type in one letter a whole bunch of different words pop up that were used befor

If you want to selectively delete them, just highlight the one you wish to delete and press the Delete key

go to tools in you tool bar in internet explorer and one of the options should be delete browsing history.click on that and then click delete history.

I am taking that your talking about items in your drop-down menu that you have typed in to search the net. to remove these items just click on the empty search window which will open the list up and place your cursor over the item you wish to remove and hit the delete button on your keyboard.
