  1. tell them dancing is your passion and it makes you really happy. you could say you'll do extra chores or something if they let you take the classes. or just ask them why they dont want you to take more classes and try to persuade them based on their reason. good luck!!

  2. I reckon all you can do is do the best you can at the lessons you have - and make sure you do other things your parents consider important well, too.    Such as being helpful, homework, and all the rest.   Don't expect immediate results.    But whatever they are they'll benefit you.   And some day you can indulge yourself.

  3. ask your parents to maybe cut off  some of there other expenses for you and do chore pretty soon they will give in. and try to find dance classes that are inexpensive, and it could help. Another reason your parents probably do not want you to get into dance is because they want you to ahve a more succesful career like a doctor or jornalis and do not want tou to get too into dancing and become a dancer explain to them how much it means to you.

  4. Well, how old are you?

What other activities are you involved in?

The younger you are, the more well-rounded your parents will likely want you to be. More dance classes means less opportunities to discover new things.

If you're older, you could ask your dance director to teach a class of the young kids. That would show a LOT of dedication and passion to make a decision for what you want. And, on the flip side, you could also trade your salary for free classes instead!

Are you varying your classes? That may be a selling point.

Also, even though you love it, you may have to accept the reality that your parents have already been advised by your dance teacher that your body type or rhythmic abilities will keep you from a career in it. So why waste the money? If so, then two classes is enough.
