How do i pick a compination lock?

i have to locker locks (combination locks) and i don't remember the combination for them, so i was wondering how i figure out what the combination is? is there a technique? cause i think theres suppose to be a click sound under each number or something, but that doesnt work? does anyone else know how i find out the combination?

  1. you can't "pick" a combination lock.

    hold it to your ear, turn right, listen for the click.

    turn left, listen for the click.

    turn right once more , listen for the click...

    ...done, pull open.

  3. First you learn how to spell....  then you look it up on the internet.

    Or you look up the manufacturer of the lock and contact them.

    Or you get a big set of chain cutters and cut the d**n thing off

  4. If the serial number is still on the back of the lock, you can write to the company, and they will give you the combination. They might even offer this same service online or over-the-phone. Otherwise, a padlock is inexpensive; cut it, and buy a new one.
