Question:

How do i plan a trip to go to israel but on the way there stop is rome, italy for a couple days?

is this possible without having to pay for 2 separate air fares...

is there some sort of travel agent i could see for that desire?

the main destination is israel and we would stay there for a couple weeks but as one of the stops we would like to stay in italy.

any help?

  1. You would fly Alitalia to Tel Aviv with a stopover in Rome.  A good travel agent should be able to do that for not much more than a round trip to Tel Aviv.  Try STA Travel.


  2. It depends on where you're flying from.

    You may do better with a travel agent because it looks tricky to do online. The good news is that both El Al and Aitalia fly to N. America and Rome.

    With code shares, you may be able to get a good price on it. El Al actually once offered a stopover and in my case, it was London. I spent a few days there on my way back to America from Israel.
