  1. I agree with Ohio.... Slow down, anxiety will get the best of you and mistakes will be made if you slow down you will think and execute properly.

  2. breathe :D

  3. When your playing outside tournaments have something on the line such as a little wager or just even a goal that you set for yourself.  Being nervous is a good thing if your not nervous than you just do not care or your just not trying.

  4. Practice under pressure....hit practice balls for a warm up..

grab ur driver and put some pressure on yourself to hit down the middle..then grab a 5 or 6 iron and find a green about 170 yrds and aim for the pin..if you come up short..grab ur wedge and chip it up around 50yds...

cuz hitting balls without pressure is good for a sat morning round with friends..

but to compete you must put some pressure...same with putting...don't just putt 3 balls without pressure...try to judge the speed and the breaks..

  5. Hello

When golf season is over ,do not putt your clubs away, practice during the winter to keep you shape and swing.

Today, I want to talk about the golfers that feels depress when the season ends, especially in the very cold North America country. I am one of them, particularly when I see the golf season going so fast from May to September because I know the snow is coming and it is the same problems for lots of Nordic golfers. I will start depressing because I know that if I don't hit my basket every week, I will loose my golf swing, but like I told you in my biography, there is no problem that can not be fix, if you use a bit of logic.

Many of my clients always ask the same questions every spring “Why does it take a couple of games to get back on feet with this beautiful sport? Well the answer is very simple. Purely because you stop doing your pre-exercise before starting your game, you don’t practice you swing anymore. Do you know that if you played 90, this mean you have at least swing 180 times if you do 1 basic swing before you hit your ball. Golfers which play 10-15 games per year will swing nearly 2700 times! And you are wondering why does it take couples games? Now imagine the professional who hit 200-400 golf balls per day before they even start their games. Many professionals’ golfers had to be operate for back pain problems. So why not playing during the winter in an interior golf.

Interior golfing is not exactly the same compare to a real golf course. However new technology has permit the industries to improve the spinning of the ball which fly almost the same direction, as if you would be on a course, using sensors all around the screen, that detect the backspin and sidespin of the ball. I have to admit that for putting, there is still some research to be made. Use interior golf that has sensors around the screen, because it permit golfers to play anywhere in the area compare to some who has little carpet sensors. However both will help you practice your swing during winter and therefore reduce your handicap at the beginning of the season. You will have the advantage to play on the most beautiful courses around the world for a reasonable price. Just think about the Pebble beach club or the Maui golf course in Hawaii. This will help you regain all your joy during the cold season and putt yourself in a good mood and also learn how to relax and keep a constant swing

    even before a major event.

    Have a nice golf season.à

  6. The best medicine is confidence in your own game.   If you know you can make the shot, you will.   Nerves can be a problem for any athlete.   Deep breaths right before you address the ball help.    100% focus after you address the ball is mandatory;   if you focus all your energy on the shot, you dont have time to be nervous.   And perhaps most importantly, you must not let a bad shot affect subsequent shots;   remember to keep grinding.

I know Tiger does one thing specifically when under tournamenet pressure.

SLOW DOWN .... not just breathing, but walking, preshot routine, EVERYTHING .... watch Tiger when he's under pressure....everything is very slow.

A small tip I use when I'm nervous is to ALWAYS mark my ball on the green...mark it, clean it, and then putt...also, be sure to mark before your 2nd putt unless it's a tap in.

Also....be aware that EVERYONE is nervous....when I played high school golf I never realized this, I wish I could go back and play again knowing what I know now!!

The better kids can just manage it better, like Tiger....so be slow, confident...and you'll do great!

    Play well!
