How do i play this video? (codec error)?

i downloaded this vid -Olympic Opening Ceremony [2008] from http://www.torrentz.com/84da0114c9a215a2bfc549d6514803a45655d796.

when i open the video with any player, it says that it is unable to play as there is error downloading codec.

please tell me how i can play this video.

You're probably missing the proper codecs needed to play the video.

I recommend the XP codec pack. It contains all of the audio and video codecs you'd need for most every format out there. It's very small so you don't have to worry about it hogging your system resources.
