How do i practice now?

ive been playing basketball for about 3-4 hours a day now. but recently i fractured two ribs and i cant play anymore for a couple of weeks. im afraid that not playing for that long will make me suck. what do i do so that i dont suck after my ribs heal ?

  1. its like ridding a bike dont worry about it just let your self heal

    just play video games and enjoy the rest and dont over eat


  2. i fractured my back in 2 places last season and once i got the ok to play again about 5 months later i started to run for about 40 minutes a day and play basketball for about an hour or 2 and now i think i am in the best shape of my life.

    Start of by running about 10 minutes a day nonstop and increase it by 5 minutes each day.

    Workout alot to gain back the strength that you lost

    Play basketball and work on your skills

    Oh and watch alot of basketball videos because you can learn from those to get you better

  3. this is what you do go to ebay buy pistol pete's basketball homework in the video he will show you tons of ball handling, shooting, dribbling and passing drills that you can do with broken ribs and inside your house if you at least an hour evry day your game will improve a lot and I mean a lot    

  4. try sitting on the couch and tapping the ball back and forth between your fingertips. this assists ball handling. just do it while watching a 30 minute show or something.  then shoot on the couch. you will be so used to your shot, it will move like butter.

    also do anything proactive you possibly can.

    shooting around count as playing? if not, do that.

  5. try working on leg exercises, once u r healed you will be able to jump higher and run faster.
