  1. Just "Be" the ball, Matt...(and watch the movie Caddyshack again...)

    Just Be The Ball...

(And breathe evenly, and chant some religious mantra like..."Na na na na nah...na na na na nah...)

  2. I'm not sure why you have to prepare if you have been playing and have some course knowledge. Hit a few balls on the range to warm up.  Use a couple of irons like the PW and 5 iron, a few fairway wood shots and six to ten drives. Then go to the practice green, hit 15 to 20 chips  and putt for 10 minutes focusing on both long and intermediate lengths. End it with several3 to 4 foot putts and you are ready for action.

  3. just focus on hitting through the ball, youve done that shot u have right now...just keep in your mind...if i mess up this shot, dont worry...youll mess up more :) *my dad would always tell me that and it would make me laugh* and just dont get 2 down on your self kid...u know u can do it

  4. listen to music or something to keep you relaxed before you tee off.  as long as you feel confident on the first tee and keep playing it one shot at a time youll be fine.

  6. Sorry it's a bit late answering this question. Try to think you are just playing a social round with your mates and don't think it's the tryouts. It's hard to do but once you can do it, you will be able to play under any pressure. Good Luck.

    Have a good one...
