How do i prepare myself for a bank interview?

I'm going for an interview for the position of Teller. I know i should ask some questions so it sounds like i'm aware and i want the job so what types of questions could i ask and how do i prepare myself?

  1. How to prepare:

    -Overdress. Wear a suit and tie (even if their tellers wear polo shirts or no ties).

    -Look as conservative as possible.  No funky hair or facial hair/sideburns.

    -Be friendly and confident.  Smile throughout and maintain eye contact with those interviewing you.

    -Keep your desired schedule as open as possible.  A newly-hired teller will have to work Saturdays (usually 8:30am to 1:30pm).

    Best questions to ask:

    -"What is a typical day like for a teller at this institution?"

    -"How much training do tellers receive?"

    You won't need to ask many questions.  The interview is typically led by the interviewer.  However, there is a point where they ask, "Do you have any questions".  It is good that you are thinking ahead.

    ask about policies for non-bank customers?

    ask if you need to wear ties ?
