How do i prevent moderators from deleting messages in yahoo groups?

you can not. it seems a default ability of a moderator. sorry. tell them not to delete posts or you'll take their privs away

If you are the owner you can edit the moderator's privileges If you are a member you can't do anything except  complain to the owner, look for the contact email at the bottom of the group or leave the group and join another.

if you are the owner of the group and you had made them a moderator just remove them and turn them back to member..but don't tell you did this..let them find out and when they msg you then tell them why..Never give any one all the list of comands when you set them up as they can delete the group if they had that check off..
