  1. by not posting it on the internet that you do not have anything protecting your bike

  2. leave the key in it so they can test ride it, they'll pass when the see it's just a 250

  3. best way is park it in you apartment

    there is lo jack

but a bike that size can picked up load in to a van or truck and at the chop shop with in 45 min where they kill your lo jack

  4. put a sign next to it, stating "this bike is equipped with lo-jack"

but really, just put a wheel lock on your front tire, so its impossible to move.

  5. Seriously, find a place to put it inside.  I am getting a storage compartment today, costs me about $60 per month.

Either use your apartment or find storage.  Two strong guys can throw a sport bike in the back of a pickup and be gone in less than a minute.  Wheel lock doesnt work, I've heard of people putting a skateboard under the front wheel and moving the bike.

Another option I have thought of is buying and inclosed trailer and putting the bike in there, then parking my car in front of the trailer.  Just an idea, but chaining up a bike or locking it will just keep honest people away.

  6. put rear wheel lock on it. you can get a bicycle rope/chain lock or an actual motorcycle lock. Along with that always put LOCK on your front wheel when leaving the bike. This makes it close to impossible to move because the wheel is turned and u can only go in circles. It can be broken with a s***w driver though. If thats not assurance, your best bet would be getting insurance on the bike its self. For my bike insurance on the bike (only kelly book value 2900) it was only 500 dollars more a year. So.. look into your options

  7. wrap it in tinfoil, then put a punch of harley davidson stickers on it.  People will think it's junk.

    LOL

  8. watch this video it wil help

if it doesnt it will still make u happy:)

  9. Those things are so light, someone can just pick it up and take it even with the wheel locks. Lock it to something solid using a high quality cable like On Guard or similar.

  10. Park it next to an unlocked Gixxer

  11. If you live on the first floor, bring it in the apartment. I once put a Road King in a hotel room. It was h**l to get in the door, but the area I was staying that night was not the best place to leave a bike out side.
