How do i print from my laptop?

I don't even know where to start! i just got a new laptop and its a Dell windows vista. i want to be able to print to my home printer which is hooked up to my home computer and my laptop internet is connected to my home computer through a linksys router. my home computer is also a windows. my printer is a cannon i860. i want to print mainly word documents... and its super inconvenient to email it because my new laptop has word 2007 and my home computer has some really old word like 2003 or something. and when i open an emailed word document i have to realign everything! please help me to be able to print!!!

if your printer is not wireless then you can buy a wireless reciever that connects into the usb port in your printer.

or you can take the cord from out of the printer and connect it to your laptop.it will probably be a usb cord.
