How do i program a remote to work for a TV?

i got this tv that doesn't have a remote and i have an extra remote for another tv. their not the same brand or anything so is there any way i can program the remote to work for that TV? i'm clueless on how to do that stuff so any help would be appreciated.

btw i don't have the original instrution manuel for the tv or anything.

  1. It will not work on your new tv, you have to buy a universal remote
