How do i program phone numbers in a palm treo 680 for speed dial? step by step, please.?

Hit the phone button.  Then go to the Star tab.  Select the drop down menu, and select New Favorite.  Type selected should be Speed Dial.  Then you can use the lookup button to select a number already saved into your phone.  Or to manually enter a number the label will be the name.  Then the phone number.  You can use any letter on the keyboard as a Speed Dial button.  So pick a letter and save.  Then to use it, just press and hold that letter!  Good Luck
