How do i prove to my mom i can fly alone, and be safe?

i'm 16, i live in mass. and my mom won't let me fly alone to georgia to visit my sister whos 28. my mom says its unsafe to fly alone and will not let me go. i sit home and am bored all day. i need to go visit my sister..

  1. Try to get your sister to convince her.

    Or do your research. Go online and find out how much certain flights cost, and when they leave and arrive. For example, if you say

    "I found a cheap flight to Atlanta. It costs $99, but the seat sale is only on for another two weeks. I can leave on Monday and be back the following Saturday. The flight leaves at 755 AM so we can get up early and you can drive me to the airport, and we will arrange for Lisa to meet me at the airport in Atlanta at 930."

    If it sounds like you have it all figured out, she might think you are more mature and able to handle it.

    PS - Please actually do your research. Don't make up a scenario like I just did. Go to expedia.com or one of those sites.
