  1. you can't.

And, many places will NOT verify a warrant by phone for an average citizen.  You will have to go to the police department to find out.  That way, if you have a warrant, they can lock you up at that time.

i agree with John...I'm thankful that any and everybody can't do that.  If so, everybody would be on the run.  Think of the logic associated with your question and the public safety issue that would arise if that were the case.

  2. Unfortunately  you can't just call the police station to find out if their is a warrant out for you ( I know from experience).  Because of the simple fact that they don't want you to go into hiding or leave the state or something.  A lawyer is the only one that can find out for you unless you know someone in the court system that will do you a favor.  The only other way is to either show up at the police station or go to the courthouse and find out there but if you do the latter bring a lawyer with you so that you have a good chance of getting in from of the judge that day without have to be arrested and spend the night in jail.

Trust me it is much easier in the end to go to the courthouse then to the police station to take care of this.

After some looking I found these

GovArrestRecords.com - Comprehensive Online Arrest and Warrent Records Searches

    http://www.governmentregistry.org/?hop=u...

    GovernmentRegistry.org - Public Records Online

The key is to take care of it as soon as possible. Good Luck

  3. You can't.

Call the local police to ask if a warrant is out for you.

  4. I am  thankful that citizens (especially those people who fear they have warrants) cannot access this information.

anyone else feel the same way?
