How do i put a charm on hemp jewelry?

I want to make a hemp necklaces or a choker and every time i make one i never can get the charm in the middle does anyone know how to get a charm in the middle of the hemp necklaces or choker

Like this one you see how it is in the middle can anyone help me

There are two common ways to do this.  

One, get a large jumpring or bail (big enough to slide freely along the necklace once it's done) and use it to attach your charm.  The charm will then slide along the necklace and fall, courtesy of gravity itself, in the center.

Another way takes a little more planning or forethought.  Decide how long your necklace is going to be, sans clasp or tie, of course.  Then, cut a piece of string or paper half that length.  Keep measuring your progress on the necklace.  When it gets as long as your paper, add the charm.  Continue until the second half of the necklace is as long as the string or paper.
