How do i put a collar on my bunny???

dont say that you cant because the pet store said i should get it. everytime i try to put it on her, she jumps.... help

I think a harness would work better, and you will probably need two people to put a collar on a bunny.

you should not use a collar you should use a harness they sell bunny harness or you can just use a cat or dog one because the bunnies head is smaller than its neck the bunny would be able to slip out easily

the pet store told you to use a collar so they could sell you a product.  as a rabbit owner, it up to you to research things and do what is best for your rabbit, not take advice from employees at a store.  take the collar back.

she is jumping b/c she does not want to wear the collar.  it is not necessary and could be dangerous if she catches it on something.  

harnesses are also dangerous, unnecessary, and should not be used.

it is strange that they told you to put a collar on her.  I won't if I were you.  You probably won't hurt her, but I don't see why you even would need to.  If you really do want to put it on, I say get someone else to hold her.  Or else wrap her in a towel.

It is true that a rabbits head is smaller than it's neck.  So I don't see how you can safely put a collar on a rabbit and have it stay on.  I agree with the harness theory....and the theroy that employess at the pet shop were either uneducated, or unethical....or BOTH!  Ditch the collar!
