How do i put a picture on my youtube channel?

I have to icon picture but i want to have a picture of me under the about me section of my profile. how can i do this?

PROFILE PICTURE:

When you are on Youtube. And signed in, go to "Account" and then click that, it will show your blank picture or a picture from one of your videos. Then on the right hand side, under New Features, it says Profile Picture, Click that,  And then go to choose an image, and get an image from the computer and store it in a folder so you can browse for it and later it will be there. It takes up to 6 hours to have it updated.

PICTURE ON PROFILE:

If you don't already have a photobucket, go to photobucket.com, and then sign up (it is free) upload a picture of yourself and take the url link and paste it on your About Me section. Just follow the steps above. (PROFILE PICTURE)

This will help you...

1)Go to Youtube click "Account" at the very top of the web page.

2)Then click on "Profile picture" on the right top of the screen.

3) Then underneath your current picture click "Choose an image" and then click "Browse" and choose a picture you want in your profile to be, then click "Update channel" on the bottom of the page.

You might have to wait for few hours for it to fully take effect but sometimes it happens faster.

--for best editing....

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/lyric/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....

this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.

It works very well....just google search for "zillatube"

ermm put your picture on photobucket, get the url off photobucket and copy n paste it into the about me section
