How do i put a switch on a car amp to be able to control the bass level from inside the car?

Sometimes i dont like listen to the bass really loud and other times i do, but the head unit only lets me control it a little bit. But i want to be able to totally control the power going to the amp from inside the car.

What kind of amp is it? Some amps have remote gain control. And if you can reach the amp easily just turn the gain up and down.

If you go to a stereo shop or Ebay,  a company called PAC makes a bass k**b that costs about $25.00.  

I think its model # LC1.

The bass k**b has 2 rca's input and 2 rca's output.  Place the rca's in line ( in between radio and the bass amp) to your bass amp and you can turn your bass from 0 to full power.
