  1. It sounds like you want to display an RSS feed within your HTML website. The easiest/best way to do this is to use RSS2HTML a free PHP script. This means that you can retain the complete control of the HTML layout (using templates) and make it match your existing design. Additionally using PHP rather than JavaScript will mean that search engine spiders can "spider" the contents of the RSS feeds.

Additional details and a free rss2html download is available at: http://www.feedforall.com/more-php.htm

Additional information and other options for displaying RSS feeds can be found at: http://www.rss-specifications.com/displa...

    Goodluck!

  2. To be technical, it is completely free to put an RSS feed on your site, but it really depends on where you are getting the content from. I don't have as much experience with RSS feeds, but some sites might make you pay to use their content. That is the only way you would ever have to pay.

Take a look at this tutorial: http://www.w3schools.com/rss/default.asp

RSS feeds use XML, a dynamic information loader. Try this tutorial on XML: http://www.w3schools.com/xml/default.asp
