How do i put an advert on freecycle?

If you mean put an advert on www.freecycle.org website, you can't.  You can join Freecycle groups on Yahoo and offer or request items.



To Offer something, sign in to the Yahoo Freecycle group in which you are a member. Click "Post" located on left side of page. On the first box, type OFFER: State what you are offering & your zip code. In the second larger box, describe what you are offering. Scroll down near bottom of page and click "Send". Your offer will be posted on group site when approved by group moderator & the message will be sent to members including yourself. Members who want your item will email you. You choose who gets it. Reply to that person's e email and make arrangements for them to pick it up.

Your Wanted message will be posted to the group when approved by group moderator and the message will be sent to members including yourself. If members have one, they will email you. You choose which one you want to receive. Reply to that person's email & make arrangements to pick it.  (They usually want to set item on their front porch for you to pick up).

If more than one person offers you an item, after you have picked it up, let the others know that you already received one.

Then post a message to the group to advise them you received the item.  In the subject line, type in RECEIVED: State what you wanted and zip code. "Example:  RECEIVED: Coffee Maker  Zip 12345.
