Question:

How do i put contacts in my eyes?!?

i did it at the eye doctor but now that im home i cant do it, my mom has to do it for me, and sometimes she cant even do it, heres my problem: i cant put it directly on my eye because it freaks me out, so i put it on the white part then move it over, but sometimes it sticks to my finger and sometimes its on my eye and after i wait like 10 seconds to close my eye it still pops out on my eye lashes! any tips? doesnt anyone else put them on the white part?! i just cant do it i get way to freaked out, im about to touch my eye and i flinch, please help! i have like a phobia of touching my eye! please dont answer stupid like "get glasses" thanks =]

  1. Same thing.... I did it at the eye doctor and I kept on blinking.... I think if you like pull both lid's up and like push down on them it will help.... also if you stare not like directy in front of you  it will help... if you get it on the white part just don't take it out just movie it over...

Make sure you are holding your lids very open and very tight.  Once the contact is on the white part of your eye, don't try to move it.  Instead slowly look in the direction of the contact and it should pop on the front of your eye.  Look around slowly and slowly close your eye.  Moving around too quickly can sometimes cause the contact to pop off.

  4. Don't understand the freak out - the white part of your eye is made of the same material as the other.  If you can put it on the white part, you can put it over your "eye."
