How do i put die cut stickers on my snowboard that hang off the side?

I have always seen cool sticker jobs where people cut off the ends of stickers so that they sort of overlap the end of the board. it looks really cool and i was wondering if there is another way than just using scissors. like would it be possible to use a file or something?

Lay the stickers out the way you want, and cut off the overhang with a razor blade.

cut it with a razor blade at the same angle as your edge/sidewall if it hangs off.
