How do i put dvd movies on my computer?

when i insert a dvd into my computer how do i copy or burn the movie to my computer?

You might not be able to check on the front of your CD tray and see if it says DVD on the front if not you wont be able to.

Firstly make sure you got a DVD-ROM. Then you'll need a program to over ride the copy protection on the DVD. I would strongly recommend AnyDVD (www.slysoft.com). I also use CloneDVD from Slysoft. You can use these 2 programs to extract the iso from the DVD.  Then using Videora Ipod Conveter (http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/i... you can convert the '.iso' file into an mp4 which can be played using Quicktime.

If you don't want to pay money for AnyDVD or CloneDVD, you can download a program called DVD Decrypter for free. In the Videora Ipod Converter program there is a guide on how to convert DVD's to mp4 using this program, but I find it more complicated and cumbersome.

you can rip to as an iso (image) then mount the image file whenever you want to watch it. Or you do rip the movie as a avi/ divx or something like that. I use Slysoft/ CloneDVD mobile

right click and click on copy on the movie and paste it on dektop.

Insert an empty DVD disk and burn file with a burning software. If you want to burn the video into a VCD, get a video convertor and convert the DVD video file to mpeg/mpg format

or

If you need the exact copy of the DVD onto a different empty DVD,

use a simple burning software e.g. nero any version of it..

Just make copy disk with the software.

I would use a free program such as alcohol52% available at www.alcohol-software.com this will allow you use the DVD or to copy it later. I hope this helps you.
